Type Tuesday: Marigny

Type Tuesday: Marigny

Marigny (released in March) is a typeface that could feel like your soon-to-be, go-to pair of jeans because they are so comfortable and because you can dress them up or dress them down.

It’s feminine, warm, casual, playful and quite elegant. Logotype anyone?

I also love that Marigny was designed to be a legible typeface so it can also be used for longer passages of type. I would love to use Marigny for a magazine or book project! If you had any interest in creating or redesigning a lifestyle magazine, I would definitely give her a whirl.

Designed by Tal Leming of Type Supply, Marigny comes in two styles and five weights of roman and italic. It also has these lovely extra features such as swashes, small caps and playful ornaments.

I have Marigny on my wish list.
