What Do You Do When You Have a Cold?

It's Sunday afternoon and my head feels like it is going to explode.

I'm tired. My eyes are watering every 3 seconds and I haven't gotten to the runny nose, congestion phase–yet.

Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I was at the Portland Convention Center attending Web Visions. I met some really cool people and learned some things I want to share with you but my body is telling me I need to sleep and my brain is so foggy I can barely think straight.

So what is a one-woman show to do?

I have many projects on my plate; all are of equal importance. All I've been devoting hours to keeping current and moving forward. And now, I have a cold that is forcing me to rest and recover.

I've written a few emails already to my clients to explain I'm soon down for the count or going to be moving very slowly.

I'm the type that would understand and would wish that person gets healthy and better soon but I can't assume everyone is like me. I suppose if there was a project with a lot at stake, and I was like totally out of commission, I would have to find help or a back up...

What do you do when you aren't feeling well and you have deadlines to meet and juggling multiple projects at once?

Someone has to mind the shop, right?
