I believe there are few things in life that cannot be improved by soft, faded jeans and Woodford Reserve—neat. I believe profitable decisions are in your future. I can see them. I believe beauty can make business sense. I believe in treating our world with care and respect. I believe down-to-earth should be an official color.

In a previous life, I spent 10 years as an award-winning art director for magazines, posing and answering questions like:

• How can we package editorial content to compete in a market that’s always changing?
• What are the most sustainable, conscientious ways to grow our audience?
